“Mummy,” she said, as she tenderly held my face in her chubby hands and stared deeply into my eyes,“I love you so much that I want to drink your blood in a milkshake!”
This was declared in rapturous tones, resplendent of the scene in every fairytale when the prince declares his love for the princess.
“You want to drink my what? Why?” I chuckled.
“Mama, I want to drink your blood in a milkshake!”, she giggled. Then, by way of explanation… To continue reading this post, visit BonBon Break by clicking the graphic below:
Then, last week, I wrote about how I found myself running from Zombies one Wednesday morning after school drop off:
This morning, after dropping the kids off at school, I found myself in a helicopter, hovering over a post-Apocalyptic landscape when suddenly someone began shooting at us. I’ve done the whole so cute I could eat you up…then my son turns around and throws it back on me…then proves it by kissing my cheek with om nom nibbles(not sure if that is even a real thing, but it’s close to what he actually does).
He will come up to me when I’m having a terrible, rotten, no-good awful bad day, and start out by, “Mommy, you’re so cute I wanna eat you up,” and proceed to om nom my cheeks in his adorable way. I don’t say this out loud, but at this point, he’s so beautiful that it breaks my heart. I want him to never have to experience anything negative ever, as this side of him is gloriously…perfect.
Thanks for sharing the adorable.
